First, we are disciples of Jesus Christ; and as the name of this website says, a group of disciples of Jesus living in the US. We are a group of people from 16 different nationalities including Americans, Hispanics, Jamaicans, Nigerians, Brazilians and many more. We believe that the Church of Jesus Christ consists of people from the four corners of the Earth. Jesus, at the cross brought down the wall of enmity that separates people and reconciled all, making all into one nation in Him. In Jesus there are no more differences that separate us. In Jesus we are one family of many children that desire to be like Him. We are, above all, brothers!
God has restored His Church throughout the Earth. We have heard news about the pouring of God’s grace in all parts of the world, where thousands of lives have been saved and an ever greater number of brothers have sought earnestly to know God and His will, and to live holy lives dedicated to His service.
In this period of restoration of the church, God has united and raised ministries. Which don’t belong only to a group or denomination, but of the whole Church, the whole body of Christ.
We are part of this work of the Holy Spirit. Pastors, leaders and other ministers throughout the world, from several different origins; all seeking to cooperate with the Eternal Purpose of God:
One family…
Of many children…
In likeness of Jesus!
One family, because God wants UNITY.
Many children, because God wants QUANTITY.
In the likeness of Jesus, because God wants QUALITY.
Notably, we wish to express our recognition for our late brother Ivan Baker, from Buenos Aires, who starting in the 1960s, was instrumental in the restoration of God’s truths and principles for the church. And more precisely, from 1983, witnessed and blessed us closely with his words, friendship and example until his passing in 2005.
Our desire is that the Lord will continue restoring His church and revealing more of Christ by uniting ministries, restoring truths, sanctifying His children, extending His kingdom and glorifying His name. All in search of a “simple church with a great Jesus.”
For we gave ourselves to Christ and, in His love, we offer ourselves in service to all our brothers, who are everywhere.
